The charity ANGUSalive is the culture, sport and leisure trust for the county of Angus and has been operating since 01 December 2015. We are ambitious and aim to provide the best services for our communities as an enthusiastic, customer focussed and forward-looking organisation.

ANGUSalive offers residents and visitors to Angus a wealth of services which are ‘changing lives by inspiring healthy, active and creative lifestyle choices’ through engagement with our sports centres, country parks, theatres and venues, museums, galleries, archives and libraries.

The charitable objects of ANGUSalive are recognised under the Charity and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR).

Job Requirements:

Experience of working in a sports centre through paid or unpaid work
RLSS UK NPLQ or ability to obtain within 3 months
Enthusiasm for promoting community engagement and the enjoyment of physical activity
Experience of working with the public in a customer focussed environment
Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification
Knowledge of health and safety specific to sport and leisure
ISRM Pool Plant Operators Certificate or equivalent
Two Standard Grades or equivalent, or a relevant SVQ Level 1 or NC, or relevant work experience
UKCC Level 1 Teaching Aquatics or other governing body coaching qualifications
SCQF Level 5
