Job Description:
The Water Resources Operations and Hydrology Eastern Area team leads in the operation and maintenance of the Ely Ouse to Essex Transfer scheme and pumped groundwater schemes in the area. The Ely Ouse to Essex transfer scheme is a large water transfer scheme, transferring water from Denver (near the Wash) to the Rivers Stour and Blackwater, using a combination of pumping stations, pipelines and in river transfer.
