Job Description:

Based in the Business Hub the GAA Coordinator is responsible for the secretariat and administration support required for the GAA to operate nationally. Also to assist in the following; HR and Financial admin, IT guidance, AFC signings and offer general support to management staff of DRM.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Represent the GAA and DRM at regional and national events as required, with the purpose of developing and promoting the GAA
  • Assist the GAA Chair and Co-Chairs with the creation, development and running of all GAA initiatives and events to solidify the position of the GAA
  • Will provide secretariat for the central Steering Group to include minutes, RoADS and actions to be taken forward.
  • Point of contact with Regions for budget & events including bookings, budget control and all other administration required to deliver the GAA/Defence agenda

Job Requirements:

  • Experience of using Salesforce.
  • Experience of HR tool Cascade would be beneficial but training will be provided.
  • Confidence in dealing with resistance and push back to change.
  • Knowledge of Social Media usage.
  • An understanding of both military and corporate cultures.
  • Experience of using Excel, beneficial but training will be provided.
